Legal framework
Immunity from Seizure is provided under Part 6 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, together with associated regulations. Where the statutory conditions are met, qualifying cultural objects are protected from seizure by UK courts for the period of their stay in the UK.
